My Ride K-12 (formerly Traversa Ride 360) is now available for parents and students to download on their Apple or Android mobile device. Simply search the app store for “My Ride K-12” to download and register yourself on the app. 

My Ride K-12 is designed so parents and students can access the student’s bus information in the fastest way possible. GPS technology on the bus works with Student Transportation to automatically calculate the timing of a bus route to give the most accurate route data with real-time updates. Parents and students may sign up for notifications to be automatically alerted about changes in a student’s bus status.

 

Getting Started with Your Mobile Device

To access student routing information through the My Ride K-12 mobile app, do the following:

1.  Download “My Ride K-12” from the Google Play Store or Apple IOS Store.

2.  After the installation is complete, open the mobile app.

3.  When you’re asked to find your school district, search for Blount County Schools.

4.  Once your district is selected, you’ll be presented with the login page. If you don’t already have a login, click ‘Register’.

5.  To register, enter your email address, create your password and username.

6.  After registering, you’ll receive an email confirmation. The provided link will require you to confirm your registration through the My Ride K-12 website.

7.  Login, and then add your child by going to My Students and choosing the + button. This will present the Find a Student screen.

8.  Enter the required fields: Student's Student ID (request from school) and Date of Birth {Ex: DD-MM-YYYY}.

9.  You may repeat this step to find your other students.   The Student ID is the same Student ID you use for Parent Portal.

10.  When all students are added, you can then view transportation information for each of your students.

11.  If you’d like to share a student link with another person, go to My Students, Select Action, and Share Students.

12.  Choose which students to share, then enter the email address of the person you’d like to share with.  That person will receive a confirmation email, which will then automatically link the student to that user.  They will be required to register with My Ride K-12 if they haven’t already done so.

NOTE: You must stay logged into the App to Receive Push Notifications
