Our Other MAIN Project:
Summer Learning Program for Blount County Students
Provided in person summer learning activities for 1,781 students in 2024 through Literacy/Numeracy Camps conducted at all the elementary schools and Sign-up camps conducted all across the district!
Camps were supported through grants to the BCEF Summer Program!!
Over 15,000 students have participated in camps since the summer program began in 2011!
2024 Dreamcatchers Camp at Susan Moore served 183 students and 2024 Explorers Camp at Blountsville Elementary served 166 students through the SAIL Grant Program.
BCEF also supports the following projects:

Library Media Center Initiative - ALL Library Media Centers received $15,000 Grants!!
