COVID Guidance 2021-2022

New recommendations from the CDC suggest masking based on the current spread of COVID-19 within communities. Due to a significant decrease in positive cases in our schools, starting the afternoon of March 1, 2022 the wearing of a mask on a school bus will be optional for everyone (drivers & students).

We have updated Covid-19 Guidance based on the most recent guidelines issued by the CDC and the ADPH.

Students and employees who are positive for Covid-19 must isolate at least 5 days after symptoms first appear.  If symptoms are greatly improved, the individual may return on the 6th day by wearing a well-fitting mask for an additional 5 days.  If unable to wear a mask, the individual must isolate for 10 full days and must be fever free at least 24 hours before returning (without fever reducing medication).

Students and employees may not be able to return to school or work after the 5 days unless symptoms have greatly improved.  It may be necessary to excuse additional days based on the severity of the sickness.

We strongly encourage parents to keep your children at home if they are sick or experiencing symptoms.  This is the most important thing we can all do to protect other students and prevent the spread of COVID, flu, and viruses.  Students are encouraged to wear masks, but this remains optional at this time.  Due to federal regulations, masks are still required for students and drivers on school buses.

We will continue to follow all appropriate cleaning and sanitizing protocols to keep our students in a safe, healthy environment.  Let's all work together to make this a great semester of learning for our students.
