It's time for the 2019 Summer Program!!!  Registration will open SOON!!  Check back for the link to go LIVE!!!  NOTE:  Each student will receive a paper copy of the list of camps available at school soon!  We will post when it goes home!!

Students and their families are invited to join us in the Locust Fork High School Library on Mondays from 5 pm - 7 pm for a free movie, popcorn and soft drinks. The summer schedule includes Wonder Woman 6/10, The 5th Wave 6/17, Ashes in the Snow 6/24, City of Ember 7/1, Batman v Superman 7/8 and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 7/15, Movies rated PG13. Learn while having fun with hands-on activities on the banks of the beautiful Locust Fork River near Cleveland. Trained leaders will guide activities from kayaking and canoeing to learning about the river, its animals, and our watershed. Yes, kids will get wet and meet live animals!Camp location will be provided directly to participants by the Kids Day on the River Organizers.

Calling all engineers and inventors in grades 5-8! Join us as we embark on an adventure with “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind”, a true story about a 13-year-old boy that changed the future of his village by engineering a wind turbine that ultimately saved his people from famine. What could you invent that would impact your community? Come share your design ideas with us! During camp, we will learn about the engineering design process, create an invention that solves a real-world problem, and test your invention for success. We will wrap up camp by using Adobe Spark tools to produce and share a documentary that chronicles your creativity and ingenuity. What will you harness?
